The AFRG42 meets all NCAA, NFHS and NAIA requirements. This backboard’s 1/2 inch glass is strong enough to hold up to any level of competition. The aluminum frame is stronger than that of other manufacturers, and can withstand more than 650 pounds of direct force. The aluminum also insures against rust. The AFRG42 comes with standard 5 inch X 4 inch rim hole dimensions and is compatible with most competition breakaway rims. Rim and edge padding shown in the image is purchased separately.
